I was reorganizing some of my files and I found quite a few of unfinished fanfics. It's kind of a shame that I didn't finish these because some were cool ideas. But they were for House and Supernatural mostly and I kind of stopped keeping up with the shows and fandoms both.

So I'm posting them here even though they are incomplete and unpolished!

Here's one where Foreman and Chase started carpooling together after Foreman gets re-hired by House. A little over 1000 words, pre-slashish, with some Chase/Cameron thrown in. (House)

Here's a snip of something about the Winchesters and women. 2nd person Dean's POV, Some Dean/Cassie. 300 words. (Supernatural)

Evidently I was also going to write some Alexis/Daniel (TRANSEXUAL BROTHER SLASH FTW??) for Ugly Betty a while ago, but I didn't really stick with that show and promptly forgot where the story was going. This is the only real writing in that file so yeah, it's anyone's guess:

Your twin fists around the necks of champagne bottles, you and Daniel bang them together. A quaint scene: two rich kids, getting drunk, all alone in that big empty house.

It was apparently going to contain the line "How much you have to drink before you forget Daniel Meade is your brother?" :D :D :D Oh, I'm sick. You don't have to tell me. Though as far as terrible incest pairings go, I still might like them better than Sam/Dean. I AM 100% SERIOUS ABOUT THIS. Aren't you glad I stopped watching this show??

I also found some original stuff that didn't blow too bad, but this post is long enough already and I'm probably going to regret it later as is ;)

So it's funny that I'm so distanced from the House fandom, that I got spoiled for "Who ____?" on the most recent episode (which I was planning to watch when it got on hulu) by a CNN article about politics.

It was, of course, this one.

The article still makes me smile though.

Man, everyone into House/Cuddy is flipping their shit about this episode. I have nothing against House/Cuddy (I just don't care) but I gathered from the preview that this is basically a repeat of AN EPISODE THEY'VE ALREADY DONE.

I'm on the West coast, so I'm asking you guys out there in later time zones...should I even watch it? Was Chase and/or Foreman in it?

fsjfdhjgd;ghgl certain things that people do in their posts are really starting to bug me. I think I used give more a shit to make sure ~*everything was included*~ regardless of the poster's competence level but man...life is too short D: My biggest gripes are:

• NOT LABELING YOUR POST. To the extent where I literally don't know what it is (fanart? fanfic? your opinion on something?) and can't fathom where to put it. ALSO ANNOYING is a "hi, here's my fic!" intro, with a link. That's a really good way NOT to get linked by me :P
• PUTTING SOMETHING OTHER THAN A STANDARD RATING (ANY STANDARD RATING, I'M NOT PICKY. PG15 IS FINE!) UNDER "RATING" FOR YOUR FIC. Rating: "alcohol abuse" or "sexual content" makes me either have to guess or put a ? and it makes me cranky. This bugs me more than just leaving the rating out, although then sometimes I waste precious seconds trying to look for it.
• HAVING A REALLY LONG COMPLICATED LJ NAME. JK, I know that's not a crime. It does kind of bug me, but I think I'm over it.

In sum: I'm crotchety and everyone should try harder to make my life easier. Whine whine whine.

OK, GUYS. If we know each other from the House fandom, chances are you know I have a huge boner for Foreman/Chase.

So I've been very very inactive on livejournal lately. Sorry about that. I'm still lurking around my flist, but for some reason I haven't been leaving many comments and only making fic/boring posts here.

But nothing gets my motor running like TELEVISION (inorite?) so here's a brief round-up of what I'm watching so far this season and...why? No real spoilers, I don't think.  I've been intentionally vague.

HOUSE MD
Is that tv boyfriend I've been dating forever despite the fact that I'm kind of bored with it BECAUSE IT COULD GET GOOD AGAIN, OKAY? I liked the season four finale (who didn't?) and I'm finding season five totally satisfactory. I meant to write a review of the premiere (which I liked, despite certain problems) but never got around to it. 2 was good, 3 was kind of dull. I like where we're going with Wilson and the PI. I did get bored watching the PI interact with Cuddy though, so it must be his interactions with House that I like...

SUPERNATURAL
After the premiere I was pissed (WTF IS UP WITH THIS SHOW'S RELATIONSHIP WITH WOMEN?) but also intrigued (Castiel?)...so of course I kept watching it. And I really liked episode 3. And again, I like where things are going though the end-of-the-world vibe makes things feel different. SPN changed a lot over season 3; I'm not sure it's the same show as SPN season 1. New Ruby kind of can't act. I really meant to do review posts of this show too. Maybe I'll do some retroactive ones.

FRINGE
I still need to watch the pilot. But I liked the episodes I did see and immediately fell in love with the characters. I don't know how I feel about the long-term storyline yet but I'm really enjoying the episodic stuff. This write-up is really boring and vague, sorry. Clearly I need to watch more.

MYTHBUSTERS
Really can do no wrong. Even the boring/dumb episodes are kind of awesome. I'M WAY PUMPED FOR "BLIND DRIVING" NEXT WEEK! Also, I just caught a rerun of the defibrillator myths episode and I don't think I can ever unsee Tory in a bra. Lol.

NEW HOUSE TONIGHT. Which I was not previously aware of, until I saw it in inlaterdays's lj. Haha. Who's supposed to do the newsletter tonight? Oh right, it's me. CRY CRY CRY.

I watched the promo. I'm not sure I am totally convinced by it...it looks like some interesting things will be happening. But nothing really OMG!!!! worthy. And I think saw Chase for like a second? Maybe? But I might have been imagining things. I know I saw Cameron and Foreman, but I can't even remember what Cameron said in it and Foreman was, I think, just kind of lurking around. Does that seem right? Check him out.


I do really like 13 and I'm interested to see how she's changed since her ~*big reveal*~ at the end of season four. I can't get myself all that interested in what's going on between House and Wilson right now (and even less so, about House and Cuddy). I'm sure it'll be interesting to watch though. I could come back from tonight's episode being very interested. OH PLEASE BE GOOD PLEASE BE GOOD PLEASE BE GOOD

As for Supernatural, the season four promo looks laughably bad to me. Like seriously WTF bad. But the other stuff I've seen about season four suggests it might be okay. I did watch the clips that were going around and thought, hmm, okay, seems like we're getting back on track here... UGGGH, why am I such a pessimist about my shows :p

So it's probably a little known fact that I do some vidding because I haven't in so long and I rarely upload my stuff publicly. I think uh...yeah, this is the only one I've posted. Because I suck at finishing things. Like I suck at finishing fanfics, but worse.

Annnyyyway, I started working on a vid of House footage set to the Rocky Horror song "Eddie." Because, lol, it was a good idea. But then I got super lazy and didn't want to finish it. I think some people in capschat forever ago might have seen it when it still had lots of empty spaces. No empty spaces in this version, but the stuff I filled it with isn't great.

But I decided to upload it and share it with my f-list anyway because...idk, you might get a kick out of it? There are parts I do like. QUALITY IS CRAP BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT IT DESERVES. Embedded. Or, link!:
